New born caretta caretta (Loggerhead Sea Turtle) babies rushing to the sea at Caretta Beach of Aladdin's Castle, at Anamur, Mediterranean coast of Turkey. They live in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian oceans as well as the Mediterranean Sea. They are considered an endangered species and are protected by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.

As with other sea turtles, females return to lay their eggs on or near the same beach where they hatched.
